What we collect

Names or nicknames, both email addresses, submitted ratings and optional comments, and the private tokens needed to open a check-in. Website feedback is stored separately. Unsubmitted answers stay in your browser’s page memory.

Who can see your answers

Once both people submit, either can see both sets of ratings and comments. Anyone with the private links may gain access, so do not forward them. This is not anonymous and does not use end-to-end encryption. Authorized technical access may be needed for support and maintenance. No professional reviews your answers.

Hosting and email

Netlify hosts the site and stores submitted information. AgentMail delivers invitations and report links. Incoming support emails are forwarded to the operator’s Gmail inbox for review and replies. The invitation contains the initiator’s name; emails do not contain ratings or comments. These providers process technical information needed to operate their services, including network requests and delivery logs. Their processing may occur outside your country.

Retention and deletion

New check-ins expire 90 days after creation. Earlier check-ins expire December 13, 2026. Expired links stop opening immediately; scheduled cleanup removes their stored content daily. Either person can use “Delete this check-in” from their private page. Deletion removes both sets of answers and pending email jobs for both people. Minimal token-only markers remain to prevent accidental restoration. Emails already delivered, screenshots and provider backups or logs are not removed by this control.

Optional website feedback is kept for up to 90 days. Confirmed newsletter subscriptions are separate and remain until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribing removes your address from the active subscriber record; a hashed consent/suppression record remains. Deleting a report does not unsubscribe you.

Newsletters and measurement

Newsletter signup is optional and requires a separate email confirmation. We do not sell your email address or relationship answers. We count aggregate page visits and completed workflow steps without analytics cookies, visitor IDs, answers, email addresses or private links. These counts are approximate and do not identify unique people. Ordinary hosting logs are separate from these counts.

Age and choice

The online check-in is for people 13 and older. Teens need parent or guardian permission. Do not submit information for a child under 13. If that happened, delete the check-in or contact us. Either person may decline, skip questions or stop. Please avoid including sensitive details about other people.

Your requests

You can request access, correction or deletion through our contact address. We may need to verify that the request is yours. Privacy rights vary by location. Please send only the minimum information needed and never paste your relationship answers into a support email.
